As Co-Founder and Vice President of Three Technologies LLC, he established and grew a manufacturer’s representative firm from scratch—successfully partnering with OEMs and engineering teams to integrate cutting-edge components into complex systems. His background includes extensive work with automation, packaging, electronic components, and optical inspection systems, serving sectors such as aerospace, defense, life sciences, and industrial manufacturing.

With a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University, Ketan combines technical depth with strategic business insight. Brian is a visionary technologist and prolific inventor with over two decades of leadership in enterprise storage, embedded systems, and advanced compute architectures. Best known for his tenure as Chief Technology Officer of HP’s StorageWorks division, Ignomirello spearheaded innovations that helped redefine modern data infrastructure, scaling storage architectures to meet the demands of enterprise and cloud-era workloads.

 

Following his impact at HP, Ignomirello founded Symbolic IO, a groundbreaking startup dedicated to revolutionizing data processing and storage through symbolic binary manipulation. There, he led the design of the IRIS platform, which introduced compute-defined storage systems capable of performing real-time operations on symbolic data, drastically improving performance and reducing energy footprints. Under his leadership, Symbolic IO secured numerous patents and set new standards in computational storage.

 

A true full-stack engineer, Ignomirello has architected solutions across hardware, firmware, and software layers. He is one of the rare few proficient in assembly language, C, C++, Swift, Objective-C, and Python—combining low-level mastery with high-level system integration. His expertise includes the design of ASICs, System-on-Chip (SoC) platforms, and embedded microcontrollers, and he is widely regarded as an expert in firmware development and architectural systems design.

 

Brian’s educational foundation in both mechanical and electrical engineering has empowered him to work fluidly across disciplines. He was an early contributor to the development of 3D printing technologies, including SLA and resin-based systems, and continues to innovate in areas such as laser-based data transmission and human-machine interaction.

 

Since 2018, Ignomirello has focused on next-generation inventions, including a new class of computational storage using binary field frequency and data reduction techniques, and a revolutionary Human Interface Device (HID) platform that enables any surface to become interactive through an electron-gathering system. This is paired with a newly designed touch-based operating system optimized for embedded and SoC environments.
